How long do you store my data and report?

After we have sent out your DNA test reports, we will store your DNA swab samples for three months and after this period, they are incinerated.

All associated DNA test paperwork and records are kept for 12 months and then securely destroyed.

We strongly recommend that you save a paper or electronic copy of the Test Report for future reference as your account login details will be destroyed 12 months following reporting stage and we will have no access to your information. 

If you lose the Test Report, we cannot re-issue this after 12 months following reporting stage and a new test would need to be ordered.
